Kanairy is an online fashion and lifestyle store based in Soshanguve, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa, serving customers in South Africa and abroad.

What we do

We select clothing, shoes, bags and accessories and make them easy to order from your phone. To keep prices fair, orders are prepared and shipped to you directly from our partner suppliers’ warehouses, so delivery usually takes 10–20 business days. You’ll get tracking details as soon as your order ships.

Our promise

Honest delivery times, secure payment, and real people answering when something goes wrong. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we’ll make it right.

Shipping & Returns

Processing & delivery

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Delivery usually takes 10–20 business days after dispatch, depending on your location and the courier. These are estimates, not guarantees — customs and courier delays can happen. Tracking details are emailed as soon as your order ships.

Shipping cost

A flat shipping fee applies to orders under $80. Orders of $80 or more ship free. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.

Customs & import duties

International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes charged by your country. These are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices.

Your right to cancel (7 days)

If you are a consumer in South Africa, you may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason and without penalty. The only cost to you is the direct cost of returning the items, which must be unused and in original packaging. Email returns@kanairy.shop to start.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll repair, replace or refund at no cost to you. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act for defective goods are not limited by this policy.

Refunds

Approved refunds are paid back to your original payment method within 30 days of us receiving the returned item or approving your claim, usually sooner. Your bank or PayPal may need extra time to show it.

Cancelling before dispatch

Want to cancel an order that hasn’t shipped? Email orders@kanairy.shop straight away with your order number.

Terms of Service

These terms apply to every purchase on Kanairy. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

1. Who we are

2. Orders & pricing

Prices are shown in USD or ZAR. Payments through PayFast are processed in South African Rand (ZAR), and the ZAR amount shown on the payment page is the amount charged. An order is accepted once payment is confirmed. We may cancel and fully refund an order if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurred.

3. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout through PayFast and PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Delivery

See Shipping & Returns for delivery times, costs and customs. Delivery dates are estimates.

5. Returns & refunds

See Shipping & Returns for your 7-day cancellation right and our policy for faulty, damaged or incorrect items.

6. Your account

Keep your login details safe and give us accurate delivery information. We are not responsible for orders delayed or lost because of an incorrect address supplied by you.

7. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under South African law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order applies to that order.

Privacy Policy

Kanairy respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, delivery address, order history, and basic technical data (such as device type) needed to run the store. Payments are handled by PayFast and PayPal — we do not store your card details.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your orders, take payment, send order and account emails, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We only send marketing if you agree, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the people needed to complete your order: payment providers (PayFast, PayPal), our fulfilment partners and couriers (who need your name, address and phone number to deliver), and our email and hosting providers. We do not sell your information.

Sending information abroad

Because our fulfilment partners and some service providers are outside South Africa, your delivery details may be sent to other countries. We only share what is necessary and use providers that protect personal information.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed for your orders, support, and legal and accounting requirements, then we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its use, by emailing support@kanairy.shop. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za.

Security

We use encrypted connections, secured accounts and limited access to protect your information. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and remember your bag and currency. We do not use it to track you across other websites.
